“I’m a retired international hotel operator. I’ve been living in Malaysia for a year and a half. I decided to retire here mainly to enjoy the variety of food. Also, it’s easy for my wife and me to travel internationally from Kuala Lumpur than back home in Melbourne. However, coming here and not having a car was incredibly difficult for me, because I’ve always had my own car wherever I’ve been.
“I work in an NGO. Our company mainly do consultation in the oil palm industry, on how to be more sustainable. We work very closely oil palm producers, both local and international. As a result, we do a lot of travelling every few months, mostly to rural areas in Sabah, Sarawak, and peninsular as well.
“I was born in Lima, but I grew up in Sydney. I’ve lived all over the world. Two years ago, I moved to Malaysia to pursue my MBA at this new business school here in KL called Asia School of Business.
