What Is GoPocket?

As users of other services ourselves, we understand how it feels when we have to wait 10 to 14 working days just to get that refund. Or God forbid, getting passed from one customer representative to another while trying to get our money back.

We don’t need that extra frustration in our lives, which is why our team has been working hard to launch our latest service – GoPocket for all of our users.

So Here’s How It Works:

Refunds and/or Reimbursements

In just one business day, you can expect all refunds or reimbursements (petrol/car wash) to be transferred to your account in the form of  GoPocket points.

We also have more exciting rewards coming along the way so stay tuned!

Points Per RM1

RM1 => 100 points

To use GoCar points for bookings:

100 points => RM1

Example: 9900 points will be deducted from your GoPocket for a booking worth RM99.

Cash Conversion

GoPocket points cannot be converted into cash.

Booking & Cancellation Policy Changes

With the launch of GoPocket, we have also revised our booking and cancellation policy.

As usual, do drop us an email at hello@gocar.my with the subject line “[URGENT] Booking Cancellation” should your plans change, along with your selected GoCar location, booking start date and time, and booking end date and time. The refund process will begin from the date of your cancellation email.

Below is a breakdown on the timeframe to notify us of your cancellation and the amount of points you’ll receive.

Cancelled 48 hours
before
booking start time
Users will be refunded with points
equivalent to total
booking fee + an additional 15% of the
total booking fee (exclusive of SST).

Example:
User paid RM99 + SST for a booking
and wants to cancel 48 hours before
booking start time.

User will be refunded with points
equivalent to the value of
RM99 + 15% of RM99.
Cancelled 48 to 12
hours before
booking start time
Points equivalent to 50% of total
booking fee with an additional 15% worth of points.

Example:
User paid RM99 + SST for a booking and
wants to cancel 16 hours before booking
start time.

User will be refunded with points
equivalent to the value of
(50% of RM99) +(15% of 50% x RM99).
Cancelled less than
12 hours before
booking start time
Strictly no refund
